It’s an underwater level

It has been a good week for reading; so much that was actually interesting and so little kerfuffle about previously noisy and annoying things. Not that any of them are more important or unimportant compared to the others; rather that it has been a nice change of pace for it all.

Anywa, we have things here about the Olympics [I can still use that word, right?], lots and lots and lots of 3d printing, cinema awards, gemstones, mobile gaming, software updates, weather, subway station remodelling, music and mashups, vehicles, the alphabet [sort of], uplifting things and depressing things, prehistoria unveiled, magicians and murder, webcomics and the rise of civilisations. Dive in, eat up and laugh loudly:

I dunno … the 70s maybe?

Well, this should have been posted days ago. For some reason it wasn’t and instead you get this minor trip back in time. It does include lots of webcomics and humour as promised last time though, so that’s something.

As to what’s contained herein, I’ve no real idea anymore. There is a large alphabeticised list of tags down the bottom, maybe that will help you sort out what is what. But there is plenty, and lots of fun little bits as well. Just a heads up, there’s two links as part of the first one, so enjoy the surfing:

Because yesterday she had her leg bitten off by a shark

And we’re back. Not on schedule, because that is something that will never happen, and everybody knows it. Instead we have a smattering of articles from the past few weeks. Breaking Bad and Wonder Woman, productivity and social media, massage and horoscopes, language and mathematics, drugs and card games, televisions and games, sphinxes and salamanders ducksand octopusses, oh my! This one contains almost everything, with a few obvious exceptions …

But first, some Bowie, but not for the usual reasons:

Nah, let’s put it back

This post has been sitting here for a few days waiting to be published. It’s probably about time for that, right?

Old links are old and scattered amongst their aging remains are lots of art links. There are also bits and pieces about 3d printers, brain scanners, bad breakers, bays of pirates, love poems, the spooky dark web, a cover of a hit, some MMO, science that didn’t and does work, hackers going after your toilets, how violence is good for you, conscious decisions, astral futures, strong characters and at least one honeypot that backfired. Jump in:

And this shall dwell in the sea

And a whole lot this time around: random celebrities, legal news, science developments, it’s all here; if you can be bothered. Topics include the Zodiac Killer, pollination, podcasts, smartphones, relationship advice, conspiracies, DefCon, old console is best console, pink water, surrealism as a way of living, torrent users, sleep patterns, jihadi web protocols, GPS hacking, philosophy as icons, twenty-five years of crypto, “Ghost Island”, celebrity authors, celebrity lurkers, celebrity movie adaptions, robotic tweets, artificial animal habitations, and Stoya.

And not a single mention of the Big G:
