How do we get rid of a battery this big?

Another week another payslip right? This week has been full of net neutrality discussion, from why we need it to why we need it even more. There was even a vote on some form of non-committal policy from the people in charge, which is awesome. Or not.

Anyway, diving into this mess of links you’ll see there are a lot with a technology focus. Starting with 3d printed makeup and leading into mobile/cell phones, there is also more about wearable fashion, exoskeletons, automated cars and algorithms making decisions. There’s also a large smattering of humour spread amongst zombie apocalypses, comic book adaptions, alien creators, trolls, horoscopes, video and arcade games, photos from war, old papers, hot water, visualising the universe and a large collection of skulls. So jump in as someone has already cleaned all the blood off:

I get it. It’s for a quest.

So, let’s get this going then; it’s late and it’s full. Heaps in here, just check the tags — underwear, horoscopes, laughs, music history, lots of art and photography, silly tech, maths and algorithms, the NSA, Richard Stallman, money, solar power and molten sand, etc. Lots of stuff to enjoy.

So dig in and fill up:

And because this has been delayed, here’s the most recent horoscopes from your favourite fortune tellers:

The players are you, and the capitalist fat cat

Once again, the date this was supposed to be posted has passed; the days slip away as we draw into a beautiful, and hot, Summer.

Lots of things happened over the weekend, Doctor Who being one of the biggest in some places and circles. Anywa, into it today with all sorts of things: time pieces that don’t tell the time, ways to escape working, surveillance in the city, cities on water, the rise of artificial intelligence, autonomous robots with guns, phones [and] sex, tiny computers, virtual money, and the Addams Family! Just jump in and start reading:

Pick a lie you like

That week went far quicker than could be accounted for; at least that is the thought here. Regardless, we have here plenty of things to make up for the gap in time. Lots of Halloween related links, of course and everything else. From breaking CAPTCHA to programming robots, horoscopes to cartoon maths, Lego-style phones to AR alternatives, life hacks to comments on porn videos, false identities to microscopic imagery, spying on the Brits to chaos theory, haunted paintings to period RPGs, video games without rules to breaking the rules of video games, football players to pop-up picture books, Steve Jobs to Ender’s Game, giant death storks to fighting like a gentleman. It’s all quite a mess; so dig in and enjoy:

And this shall dwell in the sea

And a whole lot this time around: random celebrities, legal news, science developments, it’s all here; if you can be bothered. Topics include the Zodiac Killer, pollination, podcasts, smartphones, relationship advice, conspiracies, DefCon, old console is best console, pink water, surrealism as a way of living, torrent users, sleep patterns, jihadi web protocols, GPS hacking, philosophy as icons, twenty-five years of crypto, “Ghost Island”, celebrity authors, celebrity lurkers, celebrity movie adaptions, robotic tweets, artificial animal habitations, and Stoya.

And not a single mention of the Big G:
