The little monster was very hungry, Chrp!

Apparently Diablo 3 is a going concern again, and it’s biting into the time usually spent on readings things on the internet. So this will be a bit of a less technical post. Lots more laughs hopefully; maybe. If you like the same things anyway.

Diving in we get trains and authors, highways and chemicals, spaceships and diaspora, horoscopes and more horoscopes, superheroines and towers, elder siblings and opinions, automated cars and beach sculpture, anonymous mobiles and artificial psyches, bitcoins and app stores. Up first though, is some art based on time and dimensions in space:

Even empty space has vaccuum energy

Sometimes the days fly by, other times they seem to drag on an on. Can’t be too sure which it has been lately around here; time is fluid and not prone to stability.

Today’s links move between technology and everything else and back again quite a lot. Between children’s television and fighting games, you’ll find wireless technology, satellite photography, new MOBA games, wireless warriors, nail polish, GPS 25th anniversary, sand art, horoscopes and more horoscopes, cosplay, gamer racing drivers, avoiding censorship, emotion recognition, thoughts on the future from the past, musical FPS, nuclear fusion, crazy objects in the third dimension, and bouts of humour scattered in large clumps. So jump in and enjoy it all:

Look at his stupid hunter face.

Once again, time as eluded us here. Leaving us behind. It’s likely it should just be set to a simple once a week or so schedule, even if there’s the desire to be more regular than that.

Alan Moore, neon fish, electrodes in the brain, horoscopes, and Star Wars are all in here this week. To go with them we have the highest definition televisions, creepypasta, Star Trek, flash smartwatches, trolling on the Xbox, NASA photography, walking on water [or at least at sometime-fluid], dragons and scientists, hallucinogenic games, and the usual humour. So eat up:

Do you like donuts?

Well, that’s enough of a break. Time for the New Year and recovering from the celebrations. There’s been a lot of nothing for a while, probably because of that celebratory period, but things are beginning to flood back in again.

Leading the list of items two weeks old or less today is virtual reality, closely followed by creepypasta. Also included for your pleasure are things like webcomics[!], country music, life reflections, shoes, facts, glitter nail polish, outer space, coffee flavoured beer, images of earth, genuine fakes, women’s rowing, broken things, wierd passwords, Orwell and facial recognition and, of course, the obligatory stuff about Christmas and stuff about New Year’s. Jump in:

And something semi-relevant to finish it all off:

Do you think our love will go on once the summer ends?

Well, there’s been a lot read and a lot discarded over the past week. And a lot has been linked below. Perhaps a little excessive, most likely just excited.

So, let’s dig into everything from monkeys to spiders, from satellites to automatons, from doctors to bus drivers, from videos to headphones, from plants to skeletons, from donuts to clean water, from videogames to obsolete computers, from Alzheimers to neuroscience, from criminals to references, from crabs to talking plants, from holograms to algorithms, and finishing off with somebody’s take on how we see Christmas:

And something specifically about a day not far from now:
