Thunder and lightning

Large thunder and lightning storm here currently, with heavy rain. It’s awesome.

There were a few more links I could have posted last night and didn’t. Which, for a couple of them is good as there are updates/responses to them. A couple of Star Wars nerdery articles, some humour from the Onion, and so on. Might as well post all the other things that pop up tonight during the regular process as well.

And finally, some to match the day [Valentine's Day I mean, even though it's technically Friday now]:

So I suppose, in the end, that was a shade more than ‘a few’. I’m not complaining. Are you?

A humpday visiting list

It’s been a few days longer than I planned. So there’s a few links there. I even pared some down to make it easier to swallow. Like a breakdown of the US President’s State of the Union speech, and various bits and pieces that I couldn’t happily categorise. It’s all part of the normal process, making sure that I’m not just filling this page with crap that was only half interesting in the first place.

Left in this time – an article about the heresy of Fred Phelps’ granddaughter, a story about monks and the law, a rundown of Bill Gates’ Reddit AMA, the Ghost In The Shell, Doctor von Hagens, the usual humour and spiders – lots of spiders!

Something to leave you with:

Enthusiasm is the greatest asset in the world. It beats money and power and influence.

Too soon?

And here we are again. I’ve spent a goodly portion of time setting up tags and bullets and so on. Prettifying so to speak.
So now each tag has an icon. There are thirteen in total, including an ‘other’ icon for any tag that doesn’t fit in the other twelve. I’ll put up a guide somewhere sometime. I was hoping to put one in the side bar menu, but I’m going to have to leave it at the tag cloud.

Which leaves us here, with something a little more regular:

Let’s see where this goes?
