Nah, sorry, I’ve got a duck though

There were plans to post this earlier, but they never eventuated into reality. Which is totally fine. Just see what we have in here to make up for it. Or don’t. Right now, it’s not a big deal.

In here today we have links that range around hacking and the law, the concept of irony, online privacy, combining the two most popular games of the year, ladies wearing cream, stills from movie sets, clothing humour, a new take on movie posters, ecological technologies, wearable surveillance, mapping fiction, encrypted emails, fortune telling, pornographer revelations, virtual card games, playing asteroids in real life, frustration leads to anger and not the dark side, and bionic implants making a difference for everyone. Sit down and eat up:

Did Megaman just make a Hadouken?

Let’s get this in a day earlier this week, hmm? There’s plenty in here again. Maybe we can get a regular schedule going sometime, twice a week maybe? Just when exactly is the big question. Stupid workloads.

Included is a lot of art and design stuff this week. Why exactly is not really known, it just is. Topics range through cuss words, fancy jewellery, the ever-present horoscopes, the Big G’s glass again, baseball games, printing houses, strategy games, video cameras, pranks that are actually funny, fan films about games, tech cycles and reality, European monuments, games on buildings, mirror images, behind the scenes from movie sets, erosion and porcelain, new fonts from old and we start, revisit and end with something about the latest foul up on the internet. Dig in:

I know! How amazing is this!

Well, there goes another week. It’s a touch absurd really. No matter how much you try to get things done beforehand, the weekend creeps on. All inexorable like. Whatever.

There’s a lot of stuff following this bit of drivel: a whole panoply of interesting and boring, of fantastical and mundane. And maybe there will be a magic show afterwards to which all these fancy words actually apply. Maths, pachyderms, holes, statues, cakes, racing, slavery, medicine, movies, fools, installations, foretellings, advice, communications, automatons, questions, developers, and extra-terrestrial life — it’s all in here, so dive in and eat up:

This creature dies too easily.

Back once more with lots of look over — with apparently most of it technology related. Lots of futurific things to think about and look forward to.

Along with the usual humour and horoscopes, this post is filled up with Bioshock fish, the most expensive video games around, ancient erotica, Powerpuff more-than-Girls, the oddest cover ever, psycho jeans, Hearthstone, smart wear coming soon, Writer’s Block, net neutrality, sea cows, prescient selling, virtual bodies, technological sheep, Orwell reaching out from the ether, fake online identities, shoes that track you, fake metro signs, micro computers, fake spiders, issues with fandom and finishing up with asteroids. First though, dive into glass related shenanigans:

Why didn’t you do the knock part?

So, this post is late. -Ish. Or something. To make up for this, it is huge. About fifty percent more than a regular post. There’s all sorts in here this time as well; 3d printing, lossiness, suns, pretty girls, ants, psychos, television, orcs, wizards, copycats, brains, phones, spiders, teeth, santas, predictions, buttons, dinosaurs, makeovers, holes, fairytales, doctors, food, chalk, gears, demons, diacritics, books, superheroes, consoles, airplanes, surfboards and ponies.

Plenty to keep you busy for an afternoon or two:

That was perhaps a little excessive. Bonus internet points if you can point to any link that wasn’t referenced at the start!
